What about people who bomb abortion clinics in America?
When reading on the internet about Islamic terrorism, commenters often mention that there is also terrorism by Christian fundamentalists in America, where there have been bombings of abortion clinics and shootings of abortion providers.
How prevalent is this form of American domestic terrorism? In recent years there have been round about 15,000 – 20,000 murders in total per year in the US. How many of these were of abortion providers?
Guess now. Scribble your answer down.
If you had asked me a few months ago I would have said three or four murders per year.
Considered over the last fifteen years I was overestimating somewhat. According to the best-known pro-abortion organisation in the US, NARAL Pro-Choice America,
Since 1993, seven clinic workers – including three doctors, two clinic employees, a clinic escort, and a security guard – have been murdered in the United States. Seventeen attempted murders have also occurred since 1991.
That figure comes from a document published in December 2007. So far as I know the figures have not changed since then.
However the phrasing “Since 1993 seven abortion clinic workers have been murdered in the United States” could be re-arranged, with equal truth, to say that “since 1998 no abortion clinic workers have been murdered in the United States.”
The last such murder was ten years ago today.
When I first found out this fact I was surprised. Again and again I have read comments that assumed that this type of terrorism was less deadly than Islamic terrorism but was nonetheless a steadily lethal undercurrent of American life – a death here, a death there.

Let me start with one big OUCH and a preface. Plus I’ll drop a few kool quotes along the way.
I was raised in a family with Mormons and Oneness Pentecostals. As a result I have studied Christian Cult apologetics and world religions since 1985 and have worked full time cult apologetics ministry for 10 years. All the way back to 98 when I decided to get into that fight, I have been called every name in the book. I could literally list thousands of words and names that have been hurled at me to try to silence me, even from ALL those that I am related to. In fact doing apologetics, speaking against Islam and working for the Lord has cost me almost everything and I sense that it will soon cost me everything. I was feeling really bad about it until I found this article on Jihad Watch. Now I feel like things might work out, or they will work out for the better with me.

The result of what I seen on 9/9/10 concerning the Terry Jones burn a Koran day left me with no choice but to turn all my focus onto Islam. And it did not cost me much at first but now it has. I was accused of wanting to kill every Muslim on the face of the earth (damn that hurt) because I oppose Islam and I am about to lose my friend of over 30 years, who I consider to be the only family member I have left.

My eureka moment was while I was watching the video on the post above from JW. What dawned on me is that what I am battling, and what my worst enemy is,, is Multicultural Relativism (the belief that all societies, beliefs, philosophies and lifestyles are equal – except Multicultural Relativism; it rules number one in America now). So the next time I get called a racist I am not going to make my typical response that “I am critical of Islam not Muslims, to be against Islam or Muslims is not racism because they are not a race, only 12 percent of Muslims world-wide are Arab and Muslims come from nearly every nation and ethnic group.”,, instead I am going to attack Multicultural Relativism and tell them it is not their fault,, they have been brainwashed and have no frame of mind to equate criticism to anything other than hate and intolerance.

Its simply not their fault and it is my job to convince them, or try to, that everything is not equal. There is such things as good and evil, every society acknowledges it on some level but not many have the guts and tenacity to oppose the evil.

I could go on and on about being called racist, a trouble maker and ***hole and such but I think you get the jest. It is my job and your job to destroy the Multicultural Relativistic mindset wherever we may find it – no matter what happens to us and what we might lose. The alternative is simply to evil to endure.
Instead of getting down and despondent, I am going to follow in the footsteps of Winston and be willing to give and lose everything, but fight to win by fighting the right enemy- Multicultural Relativism.

Sheikh Accuses 5-Year-Old Daughter of Not Being a Virgin, Beats Her to Death, Gets Off with $50,000 Fine – from FrontPage
There are some who speculate that the location of the biblical city of Sodom was in Saudi Arabia. They may have a case. Saudi Arabia is what happens when you combine absolute evil with ungodly amounts of money.
It’s not just that monsters like Fayhan al-Ghamdi exist in Saudi Arabia. They exist everywhere. But in the heartland of Islam, where Mohammed first began his wave of crimes against women and little girls, they operate with the sanction of the state.
Sheikh Fayhan al-Ghamdi, an Islamic television preacher in Saudi Arabia, beat Lama, his 5-year-old daughter to death during a custodial visit. Saudi police had found the 5-year-old wandering the streets, she was taken to the hospital and placed in intensive care.
The side of her head had been mashed in, her back was broken, she had a skull fracture, bleeding in the head, a broken left hand, bruises all over her body, and burns that apparently came from an iron. One of her fingernails had been pulled out. There were signs that she had been sexually assaulted in various ways that are too horrific to describe, but that are in serial killer territory.
Lama died in the hospital and a trial began.
“The person who committed this heinous crime is the girl’s father, who tells people how to live their lives and encourages them to cultivate the fear of Allah, who used whips and irons on the body of a 5-year-old girl,” her mother said.
Sheikh Fayhan al-Ghamdi told the judge that his daughter had been “behaving strangely” and questioned her virginity. He took her to a medical professional to have her virginity checked.
Sheikh al-Ghamdi had a job with the Saudi Ministry of Education where he was supposed to be working with troubled youth. The court found that under Islamic Hadith from several sources that states that a father cannot be executed for killing a child, that he should not be treated as a murderer.
It was narrated that the Prophet (Mohammed) said, “No father should be killed (executed) for killing his son.” (At-Tirmidhi)
Or alternatively.
“Do not kill him that killed his son, but kill the mother to kill her and her son.” (Ibn Qudamah)
Apparently that also applies to jail time for torturing your 5-year-old daughter to death. Instead the court sentenced Sheikh Fayhan al-Ghamdi to 4 months in prison and to pay $50,000 in blood money to the mother of his child.
This is what the Islamic justice system and its values are like. This is the Sharia law that the left insists on importing to America and to Europe.
The Difference between a Dhimmi and an Islamophobe

These fears have been clearly justified through the actions of radical islamists for hundreds of years. - A dhimmi relies on ad hominem, hence the term “Islamophobe”, where an Islamophobe uses critical analysis of source documents to have a rational, objective, fact-based discussion about political sharia.
- A dhimmi only reads the Meccan verses of the Quran, while an Islamophobe reads the whole Quran and understands abrogation.
- A dhimmi attends every interfaith and Family of Abraham event they can find, where an Islamophobe isn’t worried about political correctness.
- A dhimmi wants to try on the hijab, where an Islamophobe could care less whether anyone wears one but occasionally wonders how the skinny jeans fit in.
- A dhimmi is willing to forgo their ham sandwich so as not to offend any Muslim sitting anywhere in the cafeteria, where an Islamophobe invites a Muslim to the pig roast and even offers to bring them a cheese sandwich.
- A dhimmi objects to printing the Muhammad cartoons, where an Islamophobe buys extra copies of Charlie Hebdo even though he/she doesn’t speak a word of French.
- A dhimmi believes the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood is a conservative humanitarian freedom and justice party, while an Islamophobe has read, reread and highlighted the 1991 Muslim Brotherhood Explanatory Memorandum on the Strategic Goals for North America.
- A dhimmi doesn’t believe there is a U.S. Muslim Brotherhood branch, while an Islamophobe saves a screen shot of the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood by-laws now scrubbed from their website which stated, “The Islamic nation must be fully prepared to fight the tyrants and the enemies of Allah as a prelude to establishing an Islamic state.”
- A dhimmi believes anything Islamists tell them about Islam and sharia, while an Islamophobe is willing to confront the painful truth about political sharia.

Muslim Conspiracy Theory Claims Jews use the Muslim Brotherhood to Control Muslims

Conspiracy theory alleges ties between Muslim Brotherhood and Jews

(JTA) — A conspiracy theory circulating in the Arab world holds that the Muslim Brotherhood is secretly allied with the Jews, the Anti-Defamation League said.
“It would seem that no allegation made against Jews and Israel is too absurd when it is used to discredit others,” ADL National Director Abraham Foxman said in a statement.
Protesters were shown in a television broadcast last Friday chanting “Khaibar, Khaibar, oh Jews, the Brothers (Muslim Brotherhood) are the Jews,” according to the ADL, which explains that the slogan is meant to evoke an Islamic story of a battle between the Prophet Muhammad and the Jews in the town of Khaibar.
Also, Dubai Police Chief Dahi Khalfan in a Twitter campaign aiming to discredit the Muslim Brotherhood recently alleged an allegiance to Israel and Jews.
“However bizarre and ludicrous, it is an increasingly popular conspiracy theory that the Muslim Brotherhood is a Jewish production to destroy Egyptians,” Foxman wrote.
Among other tweets to his 30,000 followers suggesting a Muslim Brotherhood connection to Jews, Khalfan has retweeted a link to a YouTube video titled “The Jewish-Muslim Brotherhood alliance and the project of establishing Greater Israel.” The video accuses Jews of using the Brotherhood to achieve their goal of controlling Muslims and establishing a greater Israel.

FROM A CITIZEN WARRIOR MADE SITE -Intolerance Toward Non-Muslims in the Quran “I invite [those] who haven’t read the Quran to simply read the book. Take out a highlighter and highlight those lines that counsel the believer to despise infidels, and you will find a book that is just covered with highlighter.” – Sam Harris
Not only is there plenty of intolerance toward non-Muslims in the Quran, as the following 527 passages show, but out of the 245 passages in the Quran that are positive to non-Muslims, every last one of them have been abrogated. Read more about that.
That means the Quran has not a single positive thing to say about non-Muslims, and sixty-one percent of the Quran is about non-Muslims.
And now, here is the intolerance in the Quran:
1. “Show us the straight path, The path of those whom Thou hast favoured; Not the (path) of those who earn Thine anger nor of those who go astray.” Muslims generally interpret “those whom Allah has favored,” “those who earn Allah’s anger,” and “those who go astray” as Muslims, Jews, and Christians, respectively. 1:6-7
2. Don’t bother to warn the disbelievers. Allah has blinded them. Theirs will be an awful doom. 2:6
3. Allah has sickened their hearts. A painful doom is theirs because they lie. 2:10
4. Allah has blinded the disbelievers. 2:17-18

Hello there, my name is Damon Whitsell. I am a member of, and now long dreamed of Apologetics teacher at, Grace Community Baptist Church in Dayton Texas.
Although I have studied General and Christian Cult Apologetics since 1985 and have been DOING Apologetics online and in life since 1998 because I have Mormons, Oneness Pentecostals, Word of Faithers and Bible Missionaries in my family – I was kind of intimidated when I first thought the Lord was leading me to start an Apologetics class at my church. Because of that I just set out to start an Apologetics Movie Night, possibly in someone’s home or at church on a weeknight.
When I went to looking for DVD resources I found Aplologetics315’s “How To Get Apologetics In Your Church” list of testimonies here and here. I found them epically helpful and thought a full blown class was very possible. I really liked some of the suggestions and even considered writing my own curriculum but I am deep into studying to try to become an effective public speaker on the dangers of Islam, so I had to find the easiest way possible. That is when I found Charlie Campbell and AlwaysBeReady.com. Here is how that very valuable resource helped me start a full blown apologetics program at our church. I believe going the ALWAYS BE READY route is so simple, someone who knows nothing about apologetics can start a complete apologetics program at their church.
I did four core things to get started. I bought a 24 pack of Apologetics DVD’s in one case, a 27 Pack with the same DVD’s, plus two more, in their own cases, a bulk order of 30 of one of Charlies books “One Minute Answers To Skeptics Top 40 Questions” and I created a website. Is the Bible as violent as the Koran? The answer is YES, if you talk to many Muslims and Liberals. But are they really? The following is a short discussion I had with a liberal about the subject. I hope to show you that they are not and that all non-Muslims should be uniting and working against Islam, not only because it is an institution that is a Human Rights nightmare, but because Islam really does have the submission of the whole world to Islam as it’s goal.
When you bring up the Koran or Hadith, many scream context context context,, claiming that if read in their proper context, they really don’t say what they say – so it’s all good, just relax.
Dr. Mark Durie (author of The Third Choice) confronts this misconception in his article,, A Dozen Bad Ideas for the 21st Century and says “8. The belief that putting something in context will always produce a more innocuous interpretation. This is not true. Attending properly to context can make a text even more offensive than it would otherwise have been. Conversely, if you take something out of context you may regard it more positively than you ought to. In reality, radical interpretations of the Qur’an, such as are used to support terrorism, almost always involve an appeal to a rich understanding of the context in which the Qur’an was revealed, including the life of Muhammad. On the other hand, many have taken peaceful verses of the Qur’an out of context, in order to prove that Islam is a peaceful religion”.
I think my responses in the exchange below do a fairly good job of showing that if put in their proper context, the Bible does not say what many who wish to obfuscate with false moral equivalences want it to say, and the Koran says and means exactly what many people fervently hope and pray that it does not really say and mean. For many, the obvious, when looking into the context, is just too much to bear – so we have a generation with their heads in the sand.
SOME PREFACING
I have been spending much of my time at Eric Allen Bells’ Facebook page and new website for the past month or so. You may not know him yet, but he is a liberal film maker and writer who had a drastic change of view about Islam, and much of everything else, as a result of doing a documentary on the mega-mosque in Murfreesboro Tennessee. For Eric, the impetus to look at Islam again was a conversation he had with a Christian Coptic Cab driver in which the driver disagreed with him that the changes happening in Egypt are a good thing. The driver told him a regime change would be fatal to his family back home. For me the impetus was the responce of Muslims and non-Muslims, around the world and online, to Pastor Terry Jones’s Burn A Koran Day almost two years ago (you can read my short testimony about it in the sidebar). To get people up to speed on Eric’s amazing story, I usually give them this article called The High Price of Telling The truth About Islam You can see the amazing work he has done on exposing and opposing the mosque in Tennessee (since his change of mind) here, that has resulted in him quickly becoming a big player in the counter-jihad movement and him being featured on Fox News in the past and twice in the last few days.
As a result of these Fox News appearances, the leftist online media is featuring the recent videos also because Eric is very blunt and right on in his assertions about Islam, most specifically that Islam is “the worst, most deadly idea in the history of the world”. Those two videos are posted here (at media matters – the site my exchange is on). I think all three videos are a must see as rarely have such truths about Islam been spoken freely on any mainstream media. Eric has been studying Islam now for about 2 years and he knows his stuff and is very articulate.

The following graphic was left on a new friends FaceBook page by a visitor here. It is exemplary of how some Liberals, Atheist, Humanist, and other non-Christians are willing to go to absurd lengths of equivalence to obfuscate the issue of Islamic terrorism and the “Civilization Jihad” that is Islam – and this puts us all in jeopardy. Please take a moment to read the graphic, I’ll continue my commentary on these absurd comparisons below.
This graphic might be more appropriately named “Comparing the Tea Party to the Taliban” (because the poster said,, “Sound familar??, Who does the TEA Party remind YOU of?”, and “they are one in the same!!”) or it could be named “Comparing Christianity and Islam”,, but even that has problems because not all on the “far right” are Christian and not all Christians are on the far right. Many Christians are liberals these days. But it is guaranteed that all Taliban are the same in ideology and purpose, no matter what you want to call it. The use of loaded terms is a small problem compared to the actual comparisons employed. Lets look at a few. The first absurd comparison that jumped of the graphic at me was…..
1.”vilify gay people”
Taliban – “Kill gay people outright” VS. Christian Right Wingers – “Pray the gay away” & “put gays people in electrified pens until they die”
I mean come on,,, out-right killing of gays against praying them away is not a moral equivalence. And as a Christian I can say I have never “prayed a gay away” and I have never heard another Christian do so neither. But I have seen Islamic Countries and Groups hang gays in the public square. And when have Christians or Conservatives ever put gays in electrified pens? Non-Christians often point out that the bible says twice that homosexuals will go to hell, but they are ignorant or dishonest about the fact that those same two list of sins of the hellbound contain sinful behaviors common to all men, like lying. It seems that some on the left and some non-Christians are the ones trying to vilify.

Taliban – “Woman Bad, Men Good” & “woman starve if they have no companion” VS. Christian Right Wingers – “Woman Bad, Men Good” & “eliminate reproductive health care for woman”.
While the bible does say that a woman is not to preach in public and is to submit to her husband, non- Christians like to ignore that the same text says a husband has a higher calling of submission and is to love the wife the same as Jesus Christ loved His church – willing to live and die for her. The bible also says whether Jew or Gentile, Bond-Servant or free, male or female, we are all of the same worth.
Conversely the Koran says woman are 1. Deficient in intelligence and religion. 2. Hell will be full of mostly woman because they are the worst curse Allah has sent upon men. 3. Their testimony is worth half a mans. 4. They are entitled to half the family inheritance of a man. 5. Are to be beaten if not compliant to request for sex from husbands. 6. Must have four witnesses to allege rape, or the woman gets punished with stoning for bringing the charge. 7. Kill Woman guilty of lewdness by starvation. 8. Female Genital Mutilation is prescribed to insure the woman’s fidelity. 9. Raping of woman is allowed. 10. Women are possessions (What the right hand posesses). 11. Not wanting to pay for birth control for others is not quite the same as woman starving if they have no companion.

The very well known case from European media is not looking like coming to an expected happy end. Those two people have been facing difficulties for years, not only in Egypt where death penalty is sentenced for conversion from Islam to Christianity, but also in Europe, where they were subjected to the acts of discrimination by the Muslim community.
Despite of the case being frequently commented in the international media, i.e.: BBC, Fox News, and many newspapers, not so much has happened so far to change the situation. Ignorance and lack of responsibility for lives of this two innocent people are scaring. Why haven’t European governments and immigration offices done what it takes to protect and ensure security for them? Where they can go next after Egypt, Syria, Germany, France and Sweden? Will the Swedish authority be the one to help and listen to them? Who will take responsibility to save those two?
Q: Can you tell us what happened to you in passing months when you decided to left Egypt, and how your lives looks like now?
Maher: We have the bad memories since 3,5 years before we got away from Egypt. Somebody tried to killed me, somebody tried to throw acid on my daughter Diner. There are many fatwas on us, saying that anyone who would ever see Maher al-Gohary, must kill him. The Police follow us from place to place, because the Islamists want to kill us.
When the revolution begun we got out to Syria, because all the embassies in Egypt were closed after revolution. When we arrived to Syria, we went to the United Nations because we had to find a safe place. Where the revolution begun we went to the embassy of Vatican and we asked for visa to France. The meeting there went well. They knew me and my daughter. They know our case and gave us the French visa.
After some days being in France we found out that there are many Islamic people on the streets. Dina was scarred. Church could not help us because of the many Muslims living in France. We decided to take a train to Germany. We found out that there also many Turkish Muslims are living. We were looking for any place with not so many Muslims, we decided to the take train to Sweden. Now we don’t have any place to stay. My daughter needs go to school but she cannot do it here.
We need to live a normal and peaceful life. The government did not promise us to let us stay in Sweden, they said that they will talk with French and maybe we will come back to France again. Why these people don’t remember what we had suffered in our country? All the World knows about us, they wrote about us in newspapers, BBC, Fox News. In Germany and Holland there was made a big movie about us. We are in danger. We are afraid of Islamists. We suffer because of discrimination. We hope that one day me and my daughter Dina will live in peace and safety.’
Q: How do you feel now?
Dina: I would like to have a normal live as any girl in my age. I would like go to school and to church. I would like to come back home without being afraid that somebody would kill me.
Q: Do you remember the last time when you could meet and play with your friends, other kids?
Dina: I haven’t had a normal live in Egypt. The Christian girls were afraid that Muslim girls can kill us.
Q: Did Swedish authorities promise to help you?
M: No, but now we want mercy. I believe in Christ. We were discriminated a lot, they want push us back. We know that Saudi Arabia gives a lot’s of money to make trouble for us. Jussuf Al-Badri said during the TV program: ‘anyone who meet Maher al-Gohary must kill him’.
What can I do? What can I say? The European Union knows about us, why they don’t accept us? In immigration offices they say that maybe we need to return to France, but the church did not help us in France. They said that they can’t help us and we need to leave France because there are millions of Muslims living there. Our church was afraid. Even in Egypt the Church was afraid because maybe somebody could plant a bomb because somebody had helped us. We left France and went to Germany and we found the same discrimination. We made press conferences in Germany and we were talking about everything.
German police took our passports and warned us that we should do not make any programs because if any Muslims know about us maybe they will try to kill us. I decided to go with my daughter to Sweden. When we arrived here, looking for peace and security. We want to have a permission to stay here. Why did I leave France, why did I leave Germany? Because we were in danger there! All that we want from Swedish government is to have mercy on us, and we are getting tired.
Q: Why it is so difficult for the Muslim community to accept the case of leaving Islam?
M: Muslims can be nice where they are few, but when they are many they want to force people to become the Muslims. When they are few they do not have the power, but when they grow, they can be dangerous. Mohammed said that they can kill anybody.
Q: Can you tell what does Islam mean for you?
M: We did not believe that Islam is only true God and religion and there is no other God outside this religion. If you convert from Christianity to Islam there are no problems. They give you a job and an apartment. If you change from Islam to Christianity you have to die, you need to leave your house, your flat, your money, somebody will try to kill you. Islam is the religion of blood. We found Christianity the religion of love. Islam is very hard religion. The problem is that the Muslim do not accept any other religion. There are the rules written in Quran. If you are not a Muslim, you need to be die. Muslims want all people to become the Muslims. Everywhere where Muslims are, there are also troubles. They do not accept different people.
The “I BET YOU CAN’T LOOK AT ISLAM IN THE NEWS AND NOT SEE EVIL” Challenge

To those who still think that Islam is The Religion of Peace,, or that Islam means peace – I have a challenge. I bet you can’t look at “Islam In The News” for just two weeks and not get highly concerned!!!
There are really 4 things that should scare the hell out of you, but my challenge is about keeping up with Islam in the Non- Main-Stream Media News, FOR JUST TWO WEEKS. Those 4 things are…
1. THE ISLAMIC TEXT: The Koran, rightly understood with the help of the Sunnah of Mohammad (the Hadith [sayings of MO], Biographies of MO), the Tafsir (commentaries of Muslim Scholars) and Sharia law books such as “the Reliance of the Traveler”,,, should alone scare the hell out of you.
2. THE HISTORY OF ISLAM: It has literally been 1400 years of bloodshed and conquest in the name of Allah. I have a real good video series called “JIHAD: From Mecca to WW2″ on this site right here that will help you understand how the world got from zero Muslims to well over a billion. There is also another really good video series here on the history of Islam that might alarm you, it is simply called the Islamic Crusades, it is right here. These 2 video series alone will probably raise big concerns for you.
3. THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA AND ISLAM: Man oh man,,, if you got concerned over my first 2 suggestions, the modern day liberal media’s affinity with Islam and other totalitarian ideologies will really scare the hell out of you. If you study Liberalism and Islam you might come to the conclusion that the mainstream media might be more dangerous than Islam.
4. ISLAM IN THE NON-MAIN-STREAM MEDIA NEWS: Keeping up with Islam in the non-mainstream-media, might be the scariest way of all to learn about Islam. To see Islam in action almost takes your breath away.
MY CHALLENGE IS, to keep up with some counter-jihad sites that mostly comment on Islam In The News articles from around the world, or you can use “Google Alerts” to bring those articles to your email box without the commentaries from counter-jihadist. SEE THE VIDEO BELOW ON HOW TO DO THIS. There are however some sites I recommend keeping up with FOR TWO WEEKS (you can just read the titles and read which articles interest you – to read all the articles everyday would be a really big task). The sites I recommend are TheReligionOfPeace, JihadWatch, AtlasShrugs, BareNakedIslam and the Islam feed at FreeRepublic. All of these sites just comment on articles mined using Google alerts, for the most part. The stuff you will read will surely shock you!!!
SO WHY NOT TAKE MY CHALLENGE OR CHALLENGE SOMEONE ELSE to keep up with Islam In The Non-Main-Stream News,,, for just two weeks. I think allot of things would change if everyone heard of and took this challenge.

The Crusades are much in the news of late. President Bush made the mistake of referring to the war against terrorism as a “crusade” and was roundly criticized for uttering a word both offensive and hurtful to the world’s Muslims. If it is painful, then it is remarkable indeed how often the Arabs themselves make use of the word. Osama bin Laden and Mullah Omar have repeatedly referred to Americans as “crusaders” and the present war as a “crusade against Islam.” For decades now Americans have been routinely referred to as “crusaders” or “cowboys” among Arabs in the Middle East. Clearly the crusades are very much alive in the Muslim world.
They are not forgotten in the West either. Actually, despite the many differences between the East and West, most people in both cultures are in agreement about the Crusades. It is commonly accepted that the Crusades are a black mark on the history of Western civilization generally and the Catholic Church in particular. Anyone eager to bash Catholics will not long tarry before brandishing the Crusades and the Inquisition. The Crusades are often used as a classic example of the evil that organized religion can do. Your average man on the street in both New York and Cairo would agree that the Crusades were an insidious, cynical, and unprovoked attack by religious zealots against a peaceful, prosperous, and sophisticated Muslim world.
It was not always so. During the Middle Ages you could not find a Christian in Europe who did not believe that the Crusades were an act of highest good. Even the Muslims respected the ideals of the Crusades and the piety of the men who fought them. But that all changed with the Protestant Reformation. For Martin Luther, who had already jettisoned the Christian doctrines of papal authority and indulgences, the Crusades were nothing more than a ploy by a power-hungry papacy. Indeed, he argued that to fight the Muslims was to fight Christ himself, for it was he who had sent the Turks to punish Christendom for its faithlessness. When Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent and his armies began to invade Austria, Luther changed his mind about the need to fight, but he stuck to his condemnation of the Crusades. During the next two centuries people tended to view the Crusades through a confessional lens: Protestants demonized them, Catholics extolled them. As for Suleiman and his successors, they were just glad to be rid of them.

Historical facts say that Islam has been imperialistic—and would still like to be, if only for religious reasons. Many Muslim clerics, scholars, and activists, for example, would like to impose Islamic law around the world. Historical facts say that Islam, including Muhammad, launched their own Crusades against Christianity long before the European Crusades.
Today, Muslim polemicists and missionaries, who believe that Islam is the best religion in the world, claim that the West has stolen Islamic lands and that the West (alone) is imperialistic.One hardline Muslim emailer to me said about the developed West and the undeveloped Islamic countries: ‘You stole our lands’ and then he held his finger on the exclamation key to produce a long string of them.
Thus imperialism, a word that has reached metaphysical levels and that is supposed to stop all debates and answer all questions, explains why Islamic countries have not kept up with the West. The emailer did not look inwardly, as if his own culture and religion may play a role. Instead, it is always the West’s fault.
Westerners—even academics—accept the notion that the West alone was aggressive. It seems that Islam is always innocent and passive. It is difficult to uncover the source of this Western self—loathing. It is, however, a pathology that seems to strike Westerners more than other people around the globe. This anti—West pathology shows up in Westerners’ hatred for the European Crusades in the Medieval Age.
It must be admitted that there is much to dislike about the European Crusades. If they are contrasted with the mission and ministry of Jesus and the first generations of Christians, then the Crusades do not look so good. But did the Europeans launch the first Crusade in a mindless, bloodthirsty and irrational way, or were there more pressing reasons? Were they the only ones to be militant?
The purpose of this article is not to justify or defend European Crusades, but to explain them, in part—though scholarship can go a long way to defend and justify them
In this article, the word ‘crusade’ (derived from the Latin word for ‘cross’) in an Islamic context means a holy war or jihad. It is used as a counterweight to the Muslim accusation that only the Europeans launched crusades. Muslims seem to forget that they had their own, for several centuries before the Europeans launched theirs as a defense against the Islamic expansion.
We will employ a partial timeline spanning up to the first European response to Islamic imperialism, when Pope Urban II launched his own Crusade in 1095. The timeline mostly stays within the parameters of the Greater Middle East. The data in bold print are of special interest for revealing early Islamic atrocities, their belief in heroism in warfare, or politics today.
The Islamic Crusades were very successful. The Byzantines and Persian Empires had worn themselves out with fighting, so a power vacuum existed. Into this vacuum stormed Islam.

Muslims begin moving to non-Muslim countries in increasing numbers and the beginning of cultural conflicts are visible, though often subtle.
- First migration wave to non-Muslim “host” country.
- Appeal for humanitarian tolerance from the host society.
- Attempts to portray Islam as a peaceful & Muslims as victims of misunderstanding and racism (even though Islam is not a ‘race’).
- High Muslim birth rate in host country increase Muslim population.
- Mosques used to spread Islam and dislike of host country & culture.
- Calls to criminalize “Islamophobia” as a hate crime.
- Threatened legal action for perceived discrimination.
- Offers of “interfaith dialogue” to indoctrinate non-Muslims.
How many nations are suffering from Islamic infiltration? One? A handful? Nearly every nation? The Islamic ‘leadership” of the Muslim Brotherhood and others wish to dissolve each nation’s sovereignty and replace it with the global imposition of Islamic sharia law. Sharia law, based on the koran, sira and hadith, condemns liberty and forbids equality and is inconsistent with the laws of all Western nations. As the author and historian Serge Trifkovic states:
”The refusal of the Western elite class to protect their nations from jihadist infiltration is the biggest betrayal in history.”

Posted by: | CommentsSince the freedom of expression is a basic human right, most people have no problem in coexisting alongside any belief system, no matter how absurd or alien they may appear to be. But when an ideology incites its members to kill those who do not share the same set of beliefs, it becomes incumbent on all of us to expose such detrimental creeds.
When we hear on a daily basis[1] that Islamic terrorists and extremists have struck again, the exposure of Islam becomes of vital importance for preserving life and peaceful existence for the whole of humanity. Exposing true Islam according to the Qur’an and Sunnah of Muhammad (which is gleaned from the Hadith and Sira) becomes motivated by a selfless wanting for peace and equality, and not due to the so called Islamophobia like some Islamic apologists would have you believe. You cannot ignore the fact that there are tens of thousands[1] of hostile religiously motivated incidents in this world today perpetrated every year by the followers of Islam; from beatings, abductions, rapes, torture, and killing of innocent non-Muslims to the desecration and destruction of churches, synagogues and temples. In Pakistan, a Christian or Hindu can be killed simply for drinking from the same cup as a Muslim.[2][3]
Muhammad, following his “Farewell sermon“, set a precedence to be followed by future generations, by instigating the Muslim Arab conquests of the seventh century.[4] And since its inception, this militant force has claimed more lives than any other religious or political ideology known to man.

In more recent times, we have seen in Sudan, 2 million Christians being killed by the hands of Muslims between 1998 and 2004.[7] In Iraq, 1,960 Christians have been killed, 500,000 Christian homes have been confiscated, and 200,000 Christians have been forced to pay Jizyah, between 2003 and 2009.[8] And in Iran, an estimated 4,000 homosexuals have been executed between 1979 and 2007.[9] This is just the tip of the iceberg.
